PIANO LESSONS

Hello! My name is Ryan Kashanchi and I’m a junior at Santa Monica High School. I’ve been playing the piano and flute for the past 11 years and am currently in the top wind ensemble at my school. I have achieved outstanding marks on my Certificate of Merit examinations and have been a Bach Festival Regional Finalist for the last three years. In addition, I created a program called Music at the Bedside where I volunteer at the UCLA Hospital by playing music for the patients. I specialize in classical music, music theory, and ear training. While I love emphasizing technique and performance etiquette, I aim to create well rounded musicians by balancing this with putting theory into practice and teaching my students how to play music by ear. I am very flexible with scheduling and confident that I can help you take the next step in your musical journey!
